Interesting story this morning. Amongst the shortlist of four bids accepted by the London Legacy Development Corporation is one that would see a Formula 1 race being staged around the Olympic Stadium and park.
According to the Telegraph this has Bernie Ecclestone's approval.
Whilst we at Speedmonkey would love to see a London GP we can't really see it happening. And with Silverstone locked-in to a long term contract the teams won't put up with another race in England. Not whilst there's plenty of other countries knocking on F1's door.
