Jaguar SUV teaser image - C-X17

Jaguar has just released this image of a car that will be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show.  It's called the C-X17 design study and is believed to be the forthcoming Jaguar SUV.

Jaguar says: "The concept illustrates the diversity of vehicles that could be produced using this architecture, which underpins the innovative future of the Jaguar brand."

The SUV concept will be shown on 9 September at a press conference in Frankfurt.  It doesn't give too much away but certainly looks better than the plethora of renders that have been doing the rounds on the internet.

The rumours are that the Jaguar SUV will be called the XQ.  On 20 August I pleaded with Jaguar Chief Designer Ian Callum on Twitter not to call it the XQ.  The conversation was quite funny, and interesting.
