Citroën make a thing and stick it to a DS3

Citroën have a history of unusual and slightly funky designs but this 'diorama' seems absolutely barmy. It's a 1:43 scale model celebrating Sebastien Loeb's nine WRC championship titles and it's been glued to a DS3.

The model was built by a man called Kieron Barter of a company called Funky Lemon Design and took two months to complete.

It is something of a huge and historical achievement that Loeb made history by winning nine titles with the same manufacture whilst simultaneously making Word Rally so boring that all the other manufacturers left and no-one bothered watching it any more.

But usually such mega success is celebrated with much champagne, contractually fulfilled bonuses and near bankruptcy of the team following the the drivers massively increased wage demands - not by making a 'diorama' akin to that found in model railway museums stuck to a car.

Each to their own.  What do you think of Citroën's model?
