Sauber's new pay driver is a crashaholic

When Sergio Perez left Sauber to take up Lewis Hamilton's vacant seat at McLaren the Swiss team could have chosen from many talented drivers.  Instead they opted for Esteban Gutierrez and the £10,000,000 a year he brings to the team.

Gutierrez won 3 out of 24 races in GP2 last year and finished 3rd in the championship.

If the 2013 Sauber is as good as last years, and with Williams and Lotus sticking with Maldonado and Grosjean, this year the F1 mid-field is going to be fun to watch.
